Guidelines for the Contributors

Manuscript
The author should send two copies of the manuscript. The text should be double-spaced on A4 size paper in font and size: Times New Roman-12 (1.5 spacing) with one-inch margins all around.

The author should also send a soft copy of the manuscript in MS Word or e-mail the same to the Vimarsh Editorial Team at vimarsh@iftmuniversity.ac.in

The name of author(s) should not appear anywhere on the body of the manuscript to facilitate the blind review process.

The manuscript should accompany the following on separate sheets:
  • An abstract of 100-150 words;
  • A brief biographical sketch (around 100 words) of the author(s) describing current designation, affiliation, specialization, area of interest and number of books and/or articles in refereed journals etc;
  • A declaration by author(s) indicating originality of work and the same has not been accepted or submitted for acceptance in any other periodical.

All tables, charts, and graphs should be numbered properly and inserted into the script at respective locations. Wherever necessary, the source should be indicated at the bottom. Number and complexity of such exhibits should be as low as possible. All graphs should be black and not in color. Endnotes, italics, and quotation marks should be kept to the minimum.

References should be complete in all respects and arranged in alphabetical order.
  • In the text, the references should appear as follows: Dayal (2002) has shown... or Recent studies (Ramnarayan, 2002; Murthy, 2001) indicate that...
  • Journal references should be listed as follows: Agarwal, G.D., 1992, "Mutual Funds and Investors Interest", Chartered Secretary,Vol.22, No.1, 23-24.
  • Books should be referred to as follows: Pandian Punithavathy, 2005, "Security Analysis and Portfolio Management", New Delhi, Vikas Publication House Pvt. Ltd.
  • Web sources should be mentioned as: http://www.sebi.gov.in/mf/staaprmar2002.html (Last accessed December 20, 2008).

Copyright
Wherever copyrighted material is used, the authors should be accurate in reproduction and obtain permission from copyright holders, if necessary. Articles published in Vimarsh should not be reproduced or reprinted in any form, either in full or in part, without prior written permission from the Editor. Also, kindly fill the attached Copyright Form for the same.

Review Process
Two or more referees review all contributions by following the ‘double blind’ system. The review process usually takes about three months to one year. Vimarsh reserves the right of making editorial amendments in the final draft of the manuscript to suit the journal’s requirements.

Proofs
Correspondence and proofs for correction will be sent to the first author unless otherwise indicated.

Final Check List
Two Copies (Typed and Printed) and / or One Soft Copy in MS word of Manuscript are to be sent to the Vimarsh Editorial Team containing the following on separate sheets:

  • Abstract (100-150 words).
  • Full paper (in prescribed format).
  • A brief Bio-Graphical Sketch of author(s) in about 100 words along with their affiliation and correspondence address.
  • Declaration by author(s).
